Our young girls are at risk.
Through repeated failures in the home and sometimes within the classroom, at-risk girls have lost faith in their futures. Without a supportive, caring and inclusive environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces
personal respect, many adolescent girls will have a problematic time transitioning into adulthood.
Founded in 2009, RUTH4Kids Foundation's mission has been to empower young girls ages 9-17 to lead with confidence, clarity and compassion in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) world, while promoting a totally healthy lifestyle and strengthening their self-esteem and self-awareness. More importantly, we enable our girls the chance to develop self-confidence, encourage them to respect multi-cultural differences and develop a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship, aiding them to achieve the dreams for their future careers as an engineer, doctor and so much more!
Our foundation believes that by exposing young girls to new experiences that we are developing them to become leaders within their communities. Since our organizations founding in December 2009, with the help of patrons like you, we have taken or girls on unforgettable trips all over the world including San Pedro Guatemala and Havana, Cuba that have educated those young women to real-world experiences they would be unable to learn within a classroom.
We are excited to announce our next trip will take place on June 22nd-28th 2020 where we will be traveling to taking an incredible journey to Madrid, Spain to embark on an immersive experience filled with rich cultural history, local cuisine and incredible architecture.
For each student, the cost will be $2,500 which will include airfare, lodging, and all meals and excursions.
This year, our big goal would be to raise $50,000.
This would allow us to cover all of the traveling costs for our students and also chaperones, as well as account for any expenses leading up to the trip for any emergencies that may arise.
To make sure that we are fully prepared for this trip, our deadline to have everything funded will be February 1, 2020.
As our programs are not subsidized by the state or local government, we completely rely on donations received from benevolent community members and businesses.
Will you help us meet our goal to provide these wonderful girls with worthwhile activities by making a donation?
Since we are an official 501c3 organization every donation given will be tax-deductible. We graciously ask for your support. Your gift will have a dramatic impact on the life of young girls involved in our programs as well as their families and communities as a whole.
We sincerely thank you for your commitment to youth outreach and education and for helping to give young girls the vision and motivation to start a career in STEAM program.
We could not accomplish our mission without you!
